When we evoke the Fire Woman, we mean from the inside. It’s been a very sad week in California with the fires raging in our canyons and so many people have lost their homes. I am sending love and tenderness to so many feeling so much loss.

This is the “new abnormal” as our governor said this week. In that loss we know there is the clearing and space for new things to emerge. I have experienced a great deal of loss this year as have many people around me. What I have learned is that in that deep grief that comes with loss is the well of our love. Our grief is the other side of our love and the depth of grief we feel reflects the depth of our love.

Sometimes that love is towards choosing ourselves, to leave relationships and communities that have held us back–as painful as it is to leave, there comes a time when to love ourselves means we must forsake the relationship. To stay would be continued self-betrayal.

What are you needing to leave behind right now? How are you betraying yourself? Are you accepting a status quo or continued dynamics and behavior that are offensive to your spirit? Are you tidying yourself or making yourself small in order to be accepted, loved, validated or approved of?

We give away our power in so many ways.

The Power of Sex and Money

I’ve seen the effects of the money-sex connection for many years in my work. I remember coaching a male client who started to have a lot of trouble with money. Right after that he called me because he started having trouble getting erections for the first time in his life too. The correlation was clear.

I sometimes hear from women when they are in survival mode and not making the money they need to make, how they stop wanting to be intimate, they lose their desire and sometimes, they completely shut down.

Not having money can make us feel small, diminished, shut down, unable to feel our own greatness. It plays on our insecurities and mental well-being.

But how does money relate to sex?

Sex is about relationships, energy, desire, abundance, joy, pleasure, connection, and divinity.

Guess what?

Money is also about relationships, energy, desire, abundance, joy, pleasure, connection, and divinity.

Money comes from the divine/universe/spirit/God/energy/whatever-you-call-it and it comes through our relationships. It comes through people from the divine.

It’s a tool to assist us to live the life we are meant to live. It’s a way we exchange energy with others…and of course, so is sex!

Sex and money are the two biggest ways we exchange energy on a regular basis.

Making money, being in abundance, and taking care of ourselves puffs us up in a good way. It makes us feel bigger. We stop worrying and start dreaming when our financial needs are taken care of.

When we are having great sex and connecting to our bodies and/or partner, that also puffs us up…the peacock feathers come out and we feel big, more confident, more at home in ourselves.

You are meant to be big. You are not meant to be small. None of us are.

We make ourselves small for so many reasons. I work with clients on this all the time…all the ways they sabotage and diminish the fullness of who they are. All the ways sexual insecurity plays on their overall self-esteem and self worth.

Women diminish themselves so they don’t intimidate men. They can often downplay the money they make or their successes so their (usually male) partner will feel okay, buying into the idea they should not make more/go further than a man.

There are so many ways of relinquishing our power–leaving ourselves to take care of someone else.

You are meant to live an abundant life, full with connection and all the love, beauty, joy and money you need. Your creator did not put you here to never have enough.

You were put here to be creative. Sexual energy is the creative life force the universe was made from.

When life feels abundant and fulfilling, we feel expansive. Sexuality is by nature expansive. Sexual energy is the energy of transmutation. It gives us more energy.

Money is energy. When we have money we can create the experiences, life, businesses, and visions we wish for. It transforms us too.

Chances are that your orientation and relationship to your sexuality is very related to your relationship to money.

It is not always completely apparent how they are related.

Working on one allows you to work on the other. Ignoring one or feeling powerless in it can result in feeling powerless in the other.

I’m going to dive deep about the undeniable connections between sex and money in my newly updated masterclass “10 Ways of the Sex-Money Connection.”

If you want to expand your experience of one or both, I hope you’ll join me. All the info is below.

Circle of Fire Women

Do you long for more fulfillment sexually and more freedom financially?

Do you feel stuck in patterns of worthiness, deprivation or “not-enoughness” around sex and money?

Do you want to own your worth and power in finances and intimacy?

Sex and Money Are Undeniably Connected.

Sex and money are both born out of our creative energy, the creative current we all flow in.

People tend to run the same patterns around sex that they run around money.

Breaking through around one means breaking through around the other.

The connection is deep–even Napoleon Hill wrote about this compelling connection in the 1920s:

“Sex desire is the most powerful of human desires. When driven by this desire, men develop keenness of imagination, courage, willpower, persistence, and creative ability unknown to them at other times. So strong and impelling is the desire for sexual contact that men freely run the risk of life and reputation to indulge it.

“When harnessed and redirected along other lines, this motivating force maintains all of its attributes of keenness of imagination, courage, etc., which may be used as powerful creative forces in literature, art, or in any other profession or calling, including of course, the accumulation of riches.”

We will explore what he meant by sexual transmutation in my newly revised signature masterclass on the undeniable sex-money connection.

In this 90-minute masterclass, you will:

  • Discover the 5 Stages of a Sex and Money Breakthrough
